Outback Camp Ground and Resort | Tama Iowa

The weather this spring has been very unpredictable with a blanket of snow during the first week of May, some days reaching close to 90 degrees, and several rain showers.  There have been many beautiful sunny days between the extremes and the Outback has had several campers enjoying those weekends/evenings! 

If you've been here before you know this campground is the right place to bring your family and friends. Our campground features a beautiful lodge, two rustic cabins, full and partial hook-up camping sites, and a rec room for special events. We have a swimming pool, mini-golf, playground, hiking trails, fishing pond, sand volleyball court, basketball hoops, and a bounce house set up on special week-ends. Throughout the season there are a variety of themed week-ends filled with special entertainments for children and adults.  Come check us out!

Memorial Day Week-end is right around the corner.  Call to book your spot, before someone beats you to it.  During this holiday weekend we plan to have all day wristbands for sale in the office for our bounce house, a scavenger hunt for the children, adult volleyball and bean bag tournaments, and a kids bean bag tournament.  All events are weather permitting!
