One Spring we found this exciting surprise at the pond!!!  Although we have not had these particular geese back to nest it was indeed a beautiful site.

Last Spring (2018) We extended our thanks to some Seasonal Campers that stocked the pond with a variety of fish.  Reports are often that bullheads are the healthiest species in our pond and the best bait is hot dogs.  Crayfish and frogs have been brought up by proud explorers. Deer and wild turkeys have also been seen in this area by campers. It is nature and there is wildlife the question is what will you be lucky enough to see!!  We also had some volunteer helpers mow a nice little look out nook to view the pond or enjoy a picnic on a blanket.  Be sure to bring your bug spray as water and woods is an excellent combination for the pesky mosquito.

Directions to the Pond:  Trail leading to  pond is at the northwest tip of the B-Camping Zone.  It is a small hike through the woods on mild terrain covered with roots, leaves, sticks, and wild flowers.  There is an incline. Path is dirt/leaves.
